An Advisory Board of stakeholders will make strategic decisions for the Transportation Intermediaries Exchange.
Technology for the Transportation Intermediaries Exchange will be developed by a firm with experience in load matching, transportation and Information Technology. Technology firm will be selected by their response to a Request for Proposal (RFP).
Management, administration and process functions of the enterprise will be by in-house staff, or outsourced, as determined by the TIE Advisory Board of stakeholders. All will be highly qualified in terms of knowledge and experience.
User-friendly technical support will be provided both online and through voice contact. Fast, easy, personal technical support is a key to the success of this enterprise.
Continuing improvement and enhancements
By listening to the customer, we will learn what else can be done. The survey "Intermediary and the Internet" is expected to suggest additional services that TIs could offer to the marketplace. These may hold possibility for inclusion in the Exchange.
By having a business arrangement with a cutting edge technology firm, TIE stakeholders will have first access to development and integration of new services and new speed of transactions.
Input will come from:
Existing customers
New customers
Transportation professionals in the TIE Network
Carriers who use the service
Trend tracking through publications, speakers and
Informed sources
Input by consultants and outsourcers working with TIE
